Wang Dan (王丹),a former Tiananmen Square student leader, had a talk at Johns Hopkins in English with a strong accent. I can hardly blieve that he has been in US for seven years... He was sorry for his poor English because he just spent one year in Taiwan for his dissertion. Therefore,it is reasonable to believe that these Chinese dissidents can not challenge the Communist because they are not smart enough, as Mao and Zhou challenged Kiang some sixty years ago and eventually kicked Kiang out of China---stopped the Republic of China in mainland China.(Left, Wang Dan; Right, Anne Thurston, professor of China Studies at School of Advanced International Studies or SAIS)
